Brooklyn Jazz Gals is a collective of talented female musicians Nataliia Tarasenko on vocals, Marina Makarova on keys, and Alexandra Mogilevich on drums. Combining all famous jazz standards with their own style and unique vibe, they are recreating jazz music and giving it a fresh touch. And quite a touch it is!!

All three have graduated the most prestigious music schools of Russia, participated in international and local jazz festivals back in their home country, as well as across US. The chemistry they create together on stage is incredibly powerful and special.

Nataliia Tarasenko, the vocalist, has been singing since she was 5 years old. Winner of international vocal competitions, leader of many music bands, she has performed with masters of jazz in NYC, participated as singer/songwriter in international music project «Face Everything And Rise» (her song «Bossamba» written in collaboration with musicians from Mexico and Europe got released on all digital platforms in 2020). «There are two languages which everybody can speak and understand. It’s love and music. Music heals. As much as love. My voice is my power to connect with people, to connect people with themselves too. And I want it be heard» - says Nataliia.

Marina Makarova is an award-winning pianist, improviser and accompanies. She began with classical studies, later progressing to jazz. Marina has performed at Iridium, Birdland, Opera America, Kitano, MORA, Davidzone Radio, and Louis Armstrong House Museum. Marina is also playing gospel music at Grace-Hanson Unithed Methodist Church since 2013. She has her absolutely own unique sound and incredibly wide range of music skills when comes to her jazz solos'.

Drummer Aleksandra Mogilevich, the winner of ZILDJIAN DAY AWARD 2008, BOBMBA RECORD COMPANY AWARD FOR CD Recording, found her passion for drums when she was 15 ( ( before she played chello for 8 years). And at age of 23 she starts her music career at New York, and completely blows NYC crowd away with her talent and out-and-outer energy. Aleksandra has played at jazz festivals in Burlington, Wermont, Russia, Israel, and Greece.
